The Cedar Cottage Food Network is hosting a workshop by local cookbook author Iris Quinn in two weeks! Iris lives in the Trout Lake area and is thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with her neighbours over food. Here is a quick introduction from Iris herself:

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be coming to Trout Lake Community Centre to cook with you, and to talk about my new cookbook. A professional actor by trade, I have been a foodie geek since I was ten years old, and have turn pseudo-pro in the past twenty years catering for weddings and other gatherings. My cookbook, SALIVATION, is a collection of recipes that I created over the last several decades, and along with recipes that have been blessedly bestowed upon me. It is a collection of the very best I have to offer. Each recipe is easily accessible with method and ingredients, all healthy and gourmet tasting.

The workshop is on July 22nd from 6:30-8:30pm and includes a three-course meal for only $20! Register here before this workshop sells out.
