Interested in seed security in your community? Want to learn how to save seeds and join in a growing community of people wanting to share their knowledge, their passions, and their seeds? The Cedar Cottage Food Network, in partnership with the Vancouver Public Library – Kensington branch has teamed up for the second season of our seed saving group in Cedar Cottage.
Join us for our second meet-up of the season. We will discuss the why’s and how’s of saving seeds, check up on our seedlings, and plant some tomatoes! This will also function as an ongoing seed swap so bring your extra seeds and seedlings to share with the community.
No previous experience needed, and no garden needed!
*Location Note: We will meet at Kensington Library, but we will also be spending time at Kingscrest Community Garden. Come prepared to do some weeding and planting and please dress for the weather.
