Here is a great opportunity to participate in the growing dialogue on urban farming in Vancouver, engage with your neighbours, AND make a bit of extra money:

As part of a year-long community research project on urban farming in Vancouver, the Vancouver Urban Farming Society is looking to recruit community surveyors from across the city of Vancouver who will each be responsible for collecting valuable survey data from people in their neighbourhood on their perceptions and experiences with urban farming.

If you are interested in applying to be a community surveyor, please submit an online application by August 15. Note that you must be available to attend a training on August 19 from 6-7 PM.
