It’s back! Our Seedy Saturday workshop series in partnership with the Vancouver Public Library – Kensington branch is returning for the 2016 season and kicking off on March 5th.
Our first session will cover starting seeds indoors, an important skill for beginner and advanced gardeners alike. Instructor Tamiae Squibb will show participants how and when to start which seeds indoors (and which to sow directly), go over caring for the seeds, and discuss transplanting those little seedlings.
As always, our Seed Sharing Library will be open and full of seeds for participants to take home to experiment with in their gardens. We also accept donations of seeds – if you save seeds yourself and have extras, please bring some to share with everyone.
This workshop is free but seating is limited so please pre-register online or in person at the Kensington branch of the Vancouver Public Library. Light refreshments will be served.
See you there!
