This event takes place on unceded and occupied Coast Salish territory, specifically that of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), and mi ce:p kʷətxʷiləm (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
We need your help with tending the garden! We’ll be weeding, planting and sharing knowledge together. Participate in tea tasting and learn about local native, medicinal plants.
The garden was created in September 2017 for the Wild Salmon Caravan and was built to provide space for our urban communities to access traditional medicine plants of the Coast Salish Peoples, while also creating a space of sanctuary and healing.
* All Experience Levels & Ages Welcome
* Wheelchair Accessible
* Food & Drink Provided
Special Thanks to Lori Snyder and the Renfrew-Collingwood Permaculture students for contributing new plants to the garden.
