We are continuing to offer a $10 Produce Box with a sliding scale option.

This week’s box includes:
1 head BC leaf lettuce
2 bunches green onions
2 lb. BC new potatoes
1 bunch BC spinach
1 lb. BC beets
1 lb. BC broccoli
2 lb. BC carrots
1 BC long English cucumber

Please Note: Fruits and veggies in the box may change due to availability/price. Thanks for your understanding.

We may be able to include extra vegetables and fruit donated from our wholesaler. Even at this time when food is more difficult to access, there is an abundance of food being wasted due to closed restaurants and businesses. We are doing our best to rescue this food with our limited capacity, making sure it passes a quality standard before including it with your order.

How our sliding scale payment works: The $10 box price is the wholesale price we pay for the food. However, we know that some of you cannot afford the $10 box price in these difficult times. A few generous supporters have made it possible that we are able to offer boxes at a subsidized price of $5. The $5 box price is for those of you who are struggling and cannot afford it otherwise.  We are also offering some boxes for free. Please request a free box if you cannot afford fresh veggies and fruit. We want to make sure we are able to support those in the community who wouldn’t otherwise have access to healthy food at this time.

Pick up is on Wednesday July 22 between 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm at 2670 Victoria Drive.

Please allow up to 3 days for a confirmation and you will receive a pick up time window.
