National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

We take this day to mourn and honour the missing and murdered indigenous children, women, and survivors of Residential “Schools”. We take this day to reflect on Canada’s horrific colonial past and how its effects are still ever-looming today. Please join us in wearing an orange shirt to show your support, as we all learn to decolonize our lives.

Cedar Cottage Food Network is honoured to be working on unceded ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), skxwú7mesh-ulh (Squamish), and Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples, while consistently working towards decolonizing our food systems.  We recognize what a great privilege it is to work on this land and are dedicated to creating just food systems for all.
