Good news: our application for a community garden in Kingcrest Park was approved earlier this month!
Kingcrest Park is conveniently located at Knight and King Edward, right near Kingsway. The community garden will have 20 plots, a communal seating area, and a shed built by CityStudio that will double as a public art component.
The CCFN is now accepting requests for plots at Kingcrest Community Garden. Priority will be given to those who live in the neighbourhood and there are opportunities to share plots if you cannot commit the time to maintain one plot yourself.
